JR WHIP-PURS FOOTBALL REGISTRATION DETAILS

Registration is $275 per player for the 2019 Football Season. 

$50.00 Multi-Player Discount is automatically applied for families with more than one player registering. Athletes must register together for the discount to apply.

Payment plan option available at check-out. 

Registration includes use of Jr. Whip-Purs pads (practice jersey, game pants, shoulder pads, and helmet) for the season.

Personalized Jerseys and a Pair of Game Socks will also be provided and are the players to keep at the end of the season.

Players will need to provide their own water, cleats, and mouth-guards.

The season runs from July 22 through the November 17 Championships. Practice will start on July 22 (M,T,W,TH @ 6-8 p.m.) until Monday Aug. 19 of which switches to normal season schedule of (M,T,Th @ 6-8 p.m. and games on weekends, primarily Sundays. 

We have our first game on Labor Day Weekend. 8/31 - 9/1

Your player will be assigned to a team and coach depending on birth-date, weight and team availability.  You will likely not hear from your coach until closer to the start of the season when rosters are formed.  You will get details regarding practice times and locations from your coach or team mom.

Hampshire Jr. Whip-Purs is a high school feeder program.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteerism and fundraising are necessary for our organization stay healthy!  Although registration fees go a long ways towards covering many of the basic items we need for a successful season, additional funds raised through fundraising events, concessions, and sponsors are necessary for the Jr. Whip-Purs to grow and maintain quality equipment for our players.  There are many opportunities to help.  Please watch for more information on volunteer opportunities from the league and your coach.

The Registration "Football" is not currently available.

HYF&C is part of the The Chicago Youth Football League (TCYFL), which is the largest independent youth tackle football league in the United States and supported by the Chicago Bears.

All coaches receive training and are certified through USA Football, which is the national governing body for youth football within the United States. Additionally, coaches may be CPR/AED certified and there is always a licensed trainer at all games.

Teams can be broken into two levels; Pac10 & Big10.

  • The Pac10 emphasizes instruction, development and participation. The Flyweight Level is Pac10 only.
  • The Big 10 emphasizes competition at a high level.

The Jr. Whip-Purs believe that all kids should have the opportunity to learn the sport, which is why any and all players interested will be ensured a spot on one of our teams!

Practices and home games take place at Hampshire Middle School. Away games are within the Chicagoland area, including Playoff and Super Bowl games.
